Bloomed to life, bred for the cause To fight the soulless constructs I hope to be the first to topple one To be the one to bring peace To the Qyo-Kylyy Commumind The Electric God, Kahryatt Hollowed every mountain For an army of monolithic drones With Copper Veins, iron-oxide tape relay Driven by a single mind Dominates the plains To be everywhere All at once We were torn from our unity The Qyo-Kylyy Commumind By Kahryatt's hands of doom Tossed aside Rooted Hate Entangles Copper Veins (Boquet cavalry, from the Monos divine, sent to die) Rooted Hate Entangles Copper Veins (I can’t breathe without my beetlesteed, out in this basin)

A Holy War of Stone and Thorns Venomous vines, Antennae Prime Cut the signal Climb the sentinel Calcify the turning gears Stop the tape Isolate Rubble fate for Colossi Hand of spade Carves the range Magma spills on soldier slaves From Furnace gate Totem death by Kahryatt With each quaking step Kylyy legions turn to compost Our deepest fears, realized We are all a feeble waste A Holy War of Stone and Thorns Venomous vines, Antennae Prime Futile fight Thousands crushed by Colossi Her Mind's Eye The last I'll see of setting light Silhouettes the compost fate for Commumind

No one sends for fallen brain seeds Wilted Soldiers bake in desert heat How long can we break our limbs as we Punch the stoic obelisks? Colonies split and grow around new faith Believing in a future of the self Endless crusades of civil hate Poisons the dream of unity Kahryatt may have tore the Commumind But we are to blame for our uprooting

Early this morning, a shuttle lifted off aimed at the moon This wasn't the first time we left to see Auntie Luna A brilliant engineer built a bio-electro-thermal rocket Edithcolea Grandis, interplanetary pioneer They wouldn't want you to know that a millennium ago Edith was stranded on the surface of the rocky satellite Abandoned by the Qyo world powers that sent her there Stricken by fear of her hard-earned grand perspective She could see The Body now as she saw the moon before A pale pink coin against the cosmic blanket of stars Stranded with no atmosphere she planted her rocket in a crater Rationed the vapor fuel tanks, optimized the solar petal array With careful conditioning, the roots of the booster grew into the damp terrae Channels of vapor seeped through the vacuoles, seeds microbial life Within the last thousand years, the astronaut brought life to the moon Fashioned the hull of the vessel into a motherland observatory Never slept until the task was done An empire of one Your move, Kahryatt, and Qyo-Kylyy.

about

The first full length transmission by composer/novelist/performer spaceseer introduces a fictional world in a non-fictional universe. A single vine grows up and around the wrong totem, and such totem moves from its multi-millennia slumber only to unknowingly tear the communal plant-mind asunder. The Commumind fragments into millions of sentient individuals who live under the authority of those who swear to restore their once-cherished unity by striking back at Kahryatt, the Electric God that has excavated The Body incarnate to construct an entire civilization of sentinel drones that will not move without the attention of the initial omnipotent force. "Rooted Hate Entangles Copper Veins" is simultaneously a war cry and a criticism for those who seek vengeance on an enemy that perhaps doesn't register the consequences of its earth-shattering actions. Nonetheless, the paranoia created by this elemental electric force will throw the descendents of the Qyo-Kylyy Commumind into civil war over differences pertaining to the appropriate response to the wandering monoliths out in the centralmost basin of The Body's sole continent.
